Jeremy graduated with a BSc in Applied Physics and Electronics from Durham University and followed this a few years later with an MSc in Communications Engineering at Imperial College, London.
He worked with British telecom for just over 20 years, starting as an engineering manager in computing, data networks and database management. He moved into national sales to start up BT’s public data networking sales division. From there he moved into BT International to become the Regional Director for South Asia before returning to BT Headquarters to run marketing for BT’s top customer groups.
Following a period of business strategy consulting for a number of major companies, he was asked to join the board of RSLCom as a founder director covering Marketing, Regulation and Business Strategy. RSLCom was a global telecommunications carrier that grew to cover 22 countries and turned over more than $2Bn per annum. After a period as Global VP for Products and Services he left to start up a fixed-to-mobile carrier business in a number of European countries.
More recently he started up an international “Voice over IP” carrier which grew to a $4M annual revenue run-rate before being bought by an international carrier.
He now works with clients predominantly on start-up strategy, interim management and funding.
